Inclusive reading with Kinderlib

Kinderlib brings accessible, multilingual reading to neurodivergent children, including children with autism, ADHD, and dyslexia.

What it changes

Kinderlib adapts each picture book to the child reading it: simplified, dyslexia-friendly text, read-aloud narration that highlights each word as it is spoken, and books available in more than one language. The story stays the same. What changes is whether the child can actually get into it.

Why this is an access problem

A child who cannot decode the text on a page is not a child who dislikes reading. They are a child who has been handed the wrong edition of the book. Standard children's publishing assumes one reading level, one language, one way of processing a page, and every child outside that assumption is quietly counted as a non-reader.

The principle

Accessibility is not an add-on to a reading product. It is the whole product. Build it that way and the same library serves every child in the room at once.
